The Eagles Mobile Jr. Pro Clinic last week offered warmups and drills for about 130 Edwin Forrest Elementary School students.

The clinic had been planned for Abraham Lincoln High School’s football field, but was moved inside the former Austin Meehan Middle School building due to cold weather.

Forrest second- through fifth-graders are attending Meehan this year as their school is being renovated. Robert B. Pollock students are also at Meehan as their campus is being overhauled.

The special guest at the clinic was former Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant, who played for the team from 2006-13. He later played for the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs. ••
